HAILEY VANSEGGELEN

Hailey was born in Kelowna, BC, and has been a receptionist at Creekside for two years. Hailey is an animal enthusiast especially for large animals. When she is not at work, she is travelling for barrel racing or spending time with her dog, Cinch.
HANNAH RAYNER
​
Hannah was born in Toronto, Ontario, but grew up here in Vernon. She is passionate about animals and has a few pets of her own – two bunnies, Sushi and Morty, a cat named Fish, and her dog named Zoey. In her free time, she enjoys downhill skiing, hiking, and curling up with her pets.


ELLISON SCHMIDT

Ellison is a receptionist at Creekside Animal Clinic since July 2022. She was born and raised in Vernon. In her free time, she spends time with her dog, painting, or sightseeing around the Okanagan.

BRITA (VET ASSISTANT)
​
Brita is a veterinary hospital assistant and has been working at Creekside since she graduated from the Centre of Arts and Technology in 2016. She is responsible for the husbandry of hospitalized patients, organization, and general clinic upkeep. When not working, Brita enjoys cozy nights in with her 4 cats, creating art, and watching documentaries.

CHARLY RANGER (VET ASSISTANT)

Charly graduated from UBCO in 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in Zoology. With a strong passion for animals, particularly horses, Charly is planning to attend vet school to further pursue a career in veterinary medicine. Although horses are Charly’s main interest, she loves working with all animals. When not at work, Charly enjoys traveling, hiking, paddle boarding, or riding her horse.

CHELSEA MOORE (VET ASSISTANT)

Chelsea grew up living in the lower mainland. She graduated from Douglas College in 2015 in the Veterinary Assistant program and worked on zoo animals for the Vancouver Zoo for 6 years. Chelsea and her family moved to Vernon in 2023. Chelsea loves the opportunity to learn and develop more skills. If she’s not working, she is caring for her little family. She likes to fish in the summer and read and knit in the fall and winter months.

KAITLYN MORGAN (VET ASSISTANT)

Kaitlin has called the Okanagan home for most of her life. She has a deep love for animals and worked for 6 years in animal rescue before joining the Creekside team. Working both as a receptionist and a vet assistant, Kaitlin can always be seen with a cheerful smile as she interacts with clients and their furry companions. Outside of work, Kaitlin is found outdoors swimming or hiking and soaking up every ray of sunshine she can. At home, Kaitlin has a 15-year-old toy poodle named Sasha and a hamster named Pipsqueak and fosters cats until they can be adopted.

COURTNEY S (VET ASSISTANT)

Courtney is 27 years old and works full time as a vet assistant. She is currently working towards becoming an RVT. She hopes to attend TRU and return to work at the clinic as a tech. When Courtney isn’t working you can find her with her horse Blossom, with her Chinchillas, at the gym, or playing hockey.
